Williamson Medical Center's Office of Development is offering the Fay Porter Memorial Medical Scholarship to Williamson County students pursuing a degree in health care.

The scholarship is named in honor of a well-known WMC volunteer who passed away at the Medical Center in November 1994 after a long battle with cancer.

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must pursue a health care field of study and be a Williamson County resident. Special consideration will be given to dependents of WMC employees, junior volunteers or others who have an association with the Medical Center. Entries for the Fay Porter Memorial Medical Scholarship must be postmarked by April 1. Click here to download a printable application.

Applications also can be obtained in guidance counselors' offices of area high schools, at the Williamson Tower Information Desk or online at www.williamsonmedicalcenter.org.
