Have you ever stopped to think about just how naturally amazing fruits and vegetables are?

Not only do they give us nutrients and antioxidants that boost our immune system and fiber that helps us fight heart disease and improve our digestive system, they have also naturally "color-coded" themselves to tell us how they can specifically help our bodies stay healthy! Because fruits and veggies contain these amazing natural powers, everyone should aim to color at least half of every plate with a wide variety of produce.

FUN LITTLE FACT: Vegetables that are slow-cooked (such as green beans) or fried will have fewer nutrients than fresh or steamed vegetables.
